Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations are among the most important works of piano literature. The Australian pianist Michael Leslie interprets this masterpiece in a special benefit concert at the Seidlvilla.

Published in 1741, the work consists of an aria and 30 variations and impresses with its formal clarity, variety and emotional depth. Michael Leslie counts the Goldberg Variations among the highlights of his repertoire and is known for his exceptionally mature and detailed interpretations.

Before the concert, the pianist will give a short introductory lecture on the genesis, structure and selected variations of the work.
