The songs of the three musicians come from the musical traditions of blues, ragtime and old-time music. This music is just as relevant to them today as it was a century ago. They see themselves as cultural innovators, historians and fans of this music.

Andy, Yaw and Debbie perform this historic American music with unparalleled energy, joy and virtuosity, accompanying their vocals with typical instruments such as National Tricone resonator guitar, 5 string banjo, mandola, ukulele and various percussion instruments such as djembe, cajon and the legendary Fender Precision electric bass. The music is spontaneously balanced and played with intense, fiery dedication. The music is skillfully staged from purely acoustic folk songs to electrically oriented blues. The result is a sound that is rarely heard today.
Andy, Yaw and Debbie's performances are a joyous celebration of music from a bygone era that still has the power to inspire people.
