Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour

The Banff Tour shows the best adventure films from the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, which takes place every year in November in the small town of Banff in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The festival has been running for over 40 years now and has since developed into a popular meeting place for fans and filmmakers. To make sure that outdoor film fans all over the world don't miss out, a selection of the best films goes on a big world tour after the festival and of course makes a stop in your area.

An absolute highlight this year is the film Subterranean, in which the two cave explorers Katie Graham and Frank Tuot venture into what is probably the deepest cave in British Columbia. Diving equipment is a must. But that's not all. Mustafa Ceylan hangs up his soccer boots as a teenager and starts skiing. Today, his whole life revolves around his passion for freestyle skiing. A group of freeriders take us into the mystical world of the Kyrgyz nomads and Sébastien Bouin shows us why he is one of the three best climbers in the world on his first ascent of the "DNA" route in the Verdon Gorge.

This year's tour program includes 6 films. The event lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours with moderation and a break.
