The production of a music album is a detailed and multi-layered process. A constant arranging, negotiating and mediating. Without the love of the matter, which Barbara Morgenstern (the musician) and Sabine Herpich (the filmmaker and sister in spirit) share, it would not work. Artistic work processes are something that Herpich has been interested in for a long time as a participant observer. 'Ein Bild von Aleksander Gudalo' or 'Kunst kommt aus dem Schnabel wie er gewachsen ist' stand for her consistent and persistent approach to collaborative documentary film work at eye level.
