In the organizer's words:
Elmar Krick
With his big, voluminous tone, tenor saxophonist Elmar Krick is sometimes reminiscent of
Hank Mobley or Sonny Rollins. Characterized by a preference for bluesy-groovy jazz
he released the album "Based On" in 2022, whose compositions refer directly to
directly to pieces from the jazz tradition, paraphrasing, commenting on and continuing them. What a
fitting end to this season!
