Bulgaria "Balkan Spirit Ensemble"

The Balkan Spirit Ensemble is the musical exchange of two different musical languages - that of Balkan folk songs and that of jazz music. The melodic strength and vitality of these songs is translated into a contemporary musical language through the interpretation of the ensemble. Thus, well-known and less well-known songs from all over the Balkans are represented in a new sound format, embellished with jazz, classical music, polyrhythms and oriental sounds. In addition to arrangements of traditional Balkan songs, the repertoire of Balkan Spirit Ensemble is also enriched by their own compositions, which unfold in this style.
