Two of the most important and uncompromising forces in extreme metal are joining forces for one of the heaviest tour packages of the decade: Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir are going on a big In League With Satan co-headline tour together in October 2026 - stopping at Zenith Munich on October 14. The line-up will be bolstered by none other than Swedish black metal heavyweights Dark Funeral.

Icons of extreme metal united on one stage

The Polish band Behemoth, led by singer and guitarist Adam "Nergal" Darski, has been one of the most style-defining formations of modern blackened death metal since the early 1990s. With epochal albums such as "The Satanist" and "I Loved You at Your Darkest", the band continues to set artistic standards - both musically and visually. Their shows are regarded as dark rituals, characterized by massive energy, theatrical staging and uncompromising expression.

Dimmu Borgir, on the other hand, have developed into the global figureheads of symphonic black metal since their foundation in 1993. The Norwegian collective around "Shagrath" and "Silenoz" combines orchestral soundscapes, monumental arrangements and dark aesthetics to create a sound cosmos that is second to none. Albums such as "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" and "Eonian" are among the most influential works of the genre.

Special guests Dark Funeral from Stockholm - a fixture in Scandinavian black metal since 1993 - raise the level of heaviness even further. With relentless speed, striking riffs and an iconic stage presence, they have been among the spearheads of the genre for decades.
