Hip hop meets pop, indie meets rap: Katrin, Mile and Marco are Sharktank - the Viennese trio has found its diverse, characteristic sound between playful, seductive feel-good beats and light instrumentals that meet conscious 90s rap lines and melodic vocals. What actually began as Mile's solo project developed into a real band in just a few days in the summer of 2020: for his first recordings, Mile was a guest in the studio of Marco Kleebauer - who had previously played a decisive role in the productions of Bilderbuch, Oehl and his band Leyya, among others. Marco introduced Mile to Katrin, who immediately demonstrated her talent not only on the instrument, but also impressively with lyrics and vocals. The result is songs that are created intuitively, almost on the spot, and with their honest, personal lyrics are always snapshots and expressions of current emotions.

Diplomatic Fun is the bedroom/twee pop project of Lilian Gonzalez and Jonathan Ohr, which was created in Stuttgart in 2021. Their mostly two-part vocals in English and Spanish are accompanied by two guitars and minimalist drums by Luca Reddemann, which reveal influences from surf and dream pop. Their debut EP was released in April this year on Sternengruppe Records.
