Curtain up for the stage run: The second Berlinathon culture run is dedicated to Berlin's stage landscape. We start at the Gorki Theater in Mitte, where we get an insight into one of the city's most political and lively venues - plus pre-run refreshments with energy balls, bananas and beet and ginger shots. After a joint warm-up, the route takes you through Mitte - over three, seven or eleven kilometers, depending on your stamina. The guided tour connects Berlin's stage landscape: from the Sophiensælen, which has provided a home for free and experimental theater for decades, to the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, where a piece of Berlin history has accumulated over the years. As always, it's about movement and inspiration, not speed. We take our time.
