DOCTOR LOVE POWER aka Mark Bloemeke (solo)
When the Doctor takes to the stage, he always brings a lot of little stories - some true, some not quite - from his life, his second home New Orleans and above all a lot of atmosphere. He accompanies himself alternately with electric or acoustic guitar, plays slide or sitar. In his songs, he comments on the state of the world ("Next Time People", "Politicians") or the interplay between the sexes ("Pink Shot", "Too Much Of Nothing", "Don't Do Wrong") or experiences from life ("Log Cabin Blues", "Amy"). Whether he is playing songs from his own repertoire or from his heroes such as Fats Domino, John Fogerty, J.J. Cale, Hank Williams, Ray Charles or Bo Diddley, Mark is always about the good times he wants to spend with his audience.
