BEST OF POETRY SLAM

In the organizer's words:

The wildest side of literature

The Best of Poetry Slam regularly presents magical shows with 100% live literature from some of the best slam poets in Germany: entertaining, amusing and always straight to the heart! That's a promise. And always under a different motto.

29.04.2026 TIMES CHANGE YOU

Times change - whether you like it or not. Permanent crises and permanent smiles, TikTok trends and midlife crises, climate collapse and career coaching: nothing stays the same. And those who stand still will be overrun. Our poets put this madness into words. Straight from life between WTF and ETF, between class reunion and class struggle, between burnout and balcony philosophy: an evening for everyone who is a bit lost at the moment - and/or finally ready for the next chapter.

Kevin-Ahn Kwang Soo-Groen is an expert in behavioral change as well as a spoken word and performance artist. He writes and performs not to impress, but to make visible. His work invites us to dwell on what we tend to avoid and to feel more alive as a result.
Performance in English

Ken Yamamoto is a slam poet, presenter and member of the legendary Berlin reading stage "Spree vom Weizen". He is a true Neukölln native and assimilated across the board. As salon-capable as hung halloumi, with the exuberant charm of a used car dealer, he entertainingly leads through these evenings full of linguistic wit and depth.
