Immerse yourself in the results and discussions of the week-long Global Cultural Assembly (GCA)! At Beyond Belongings, you will have the opportunity to talk directly to the international delegates.

At various tables, delegates will share their perspectives, experiences and insights from the GCA - a gathering of artists, cultural practitioners, activists and thinkers from around the world. They sat together for a week to discuss key issues of collaboration in cultural institutions, collections and the establishment of a Global Cultural Embassy.

Beyond Belongings brings these ideas to you in an open discussion format: instead of a traditional podium, we are focusing on table discussions that facilitate direct exchange.

Moderation - Carolina Chimoy

Carolina Chimoy is currently an international correspondent and reports mainly from the DW studio in Kyiv and from cities near the front line in Ukraine.

Previously, she was DW's foreign correspondent in Washington D.C. and Latin America, as well as host of the international talk show "Auf den Punkt gebracht". She has interviewed numerous heads of state and government as well as high-ranking international personalities.

In addition, Carolina has moderated panel discussions on foreign and security policy issues for the German Federal Foreign Office, the Humboldt Forum in Berlin, the Meridian International Center in Washington D.C., the German Marshall Fund in Brussels and Morocco, among others.
