BIG COUNTRY
EASTWORLD TOUR 2025
The band name BIG COUNTRY conjures up images in the minds of many rock fans. Few Scottish bands have had comparable success or a similarly memorable sound - and more successful albums and hit singles.
"In a big country", "Look away" "Fields of Fire" "Chance", "Wonderland" - to name but a few - have burned themselves into the hearts of millions of fans - and 16 albums have placed in the UK album charts.
Albums such as "The Crossing", "Steeltown" and "The Buffalo Skinners" have proven that powerful rock with ambitious content can appeal to a wide audience.
Of course, BIG COUNTRY appreciates the anthemic melodies and the compact band sound that is still guaranteed today by founding guitarist Bruce Watson and his band. Bruce Watson, Jamie Watson, Tommie Paxton, Chris Stones, and Reece Dobbin - these are the five men who now embody BIG COUNTRY.
After three concerts in the summer - including at the "Lieder am See" festival where they thrilled thousands of people - the still busy band is looking forward to touring Germany again.
