Bimovie 29 - Frauenfilmfest
In the organizer's words:
What began in 1991 as an experiment to combine high-quality, but also radical films dealing with gender issues as well as films by & for women into a film series turned out to be a resounding success. From the beginning, Bimovie was not only dedicated to women's or lesbian films, but also relied heavily on films that question the very politics of identity and representation. Since 1991, Bimovie has become an integral part of Munich's cultural landscape and a fixed date in the annual calendar of many film-loving and women-moving Munich residents.
