The BIPoC Media Salon offers a creative and networking space for BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) media professionals from Bavaria and around the world who want to exchange ideas on current media topics. The salon brings together participants from different media professions and aims to unite the community of media professionals.

Together with selected BIPoC speakers, we want to talk about urgent topics such as community building or magazine launches in the media industry.

Get to know new ideas and people who will help you personally and professionally! The setting is small and informal. The BIPoC Media Salon takes place at our Media Lab Bayern in Munich.

In 2024, mutual support will be more important than ever. The economic situation, technological innovations and social sentiment are changing our everyday lives in the media industry.

This is the time for reorientation, awareness of privileges and shared inspiration.

Entrepreneurs, startup founders, freelance media professionals and visionaries from the media industry who identify as BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) are cordially invited to participate in the first BIPoC Media Salon. We want to keep the term as open as possible and invite all people who are negatively affected by racism.

The BIPoC Media Salon aims to draw attention to relevant issues in the BIPoC community, so the event is also open to anyone who is interested in BIPoC issues, even if they are not BIPoC themselves.
