Black History Month - perspectives from Düsseldorf at the Jugendring Café

For Black History Month, the Jugendring invites you to the Jugendring Café on February 11: Young Black voices will provide insights into the reality of their lives in Düsseldorf at the Haus der Jugend.

Look forward to a cozy café evening with art, music and spoken word. Among other things, Noelle Ehrenfeld's multimedia exhibition "Der Körper in der Mitte, der Ich bin" will be shown, in which she explores different cultural affiliations. Musically, Düsseldorf newcomer CHAMP will be building international bridges with a mix of rap and hip-hop. You can also look forward to a performance by Afro-German poet May Ayim. Be curious!

Get into conversation, get to know new people and new perspectives and get creative together. Free admission. There will be cheap drinks and free snacks. You are welcome to bring your own food and eat it on site.The café opens at 6:30 pm and the program runs from 7 to 9 pm.
