Promising upstarts, underground heroes, and esteemed dance music trailblazers unite for a night of outstanding sounds spanning Techno to House.
Berlin upstart Reka Zalan joins a stellar cast of seasoned selectors, but the up-and-coming DJ has no need to hide. From a residency at Tresor and co-hosting events at ://about blank to her role at Hard Wax, she's built a name to watch. But we're here for the grooves, and Reka Zalan delivers with a vinyl-focussed, no-frills approach to techno that's as spherical as it is deep, grounded, and brooding. Gently driving and heavy on percussion, her sets steadily conquer the subconscious.
British dance music outlaw Regis-half of the influential Downwards label, British Murder Boys, and part of the Sandwell District trio is a warrant for substantial techno of the edgier spectrum. Beloved Blitz regular Steffi, meanwhile, is a seasoned sonic shapeshifter rooted in Techno, focusing deeply on the dance floor and drawing from a vast well of experience. German underground fixtures Don Williams and XDB round out the lineup with stellar sounds and assured craftsmanship.
On our PLUS Floor, Paquita Gordon and Virginia uplift spirits with spirited, soulful, and buoyant grooves. Ostgut Ton and Candy Mountain affiliate Virginia moves between House and Techno with a warm analog touch and even live vocals on occasion, as seen in her memorable collaborations with Steffi. Italian vinyl-cognoscente Paquita Gordon takes listeners on a borderless musical journey, connecting sensual grooves with cosmic explorations and a unique curiosity for the ritualistic magic in dance music.
