Blues Lounge with Turning Wheelz at Joly's Live Music Bar

Hello dear friends of musical evening entertainment. In June we are looking forward to a premiere on the drums! Uwe Plociennik will be there. Before the world in Leipzig took off its gray, Uwe, called Rotz, was the drummer of the band Wutanfall, the first punk rock band in the East. Today you can hear him at "Buddy in Concert". In between there were many musical projects in various genres, for example the first Saxon singing band äTäNNSCHEN. He has never forgotten his secret love of the blues. We welcome Ben Hohlfeld on the electric bass. Whether double bass or electric bass with different numbers of strings, it is a great pleasure to hear him play. Especially at a blues session, where he not only grooves, but can also show off his joy of improvisation. Maria Schüritz will delight us with her cool voice. It's wonderful that she has found time for this again. We would also like to mention Tobias Deutsch, an excellent "tastemaker", sideman and cornerstone of Turning Wheelz. He also plays in The Last Deal and various other projects. And last but not least, Edmund Adler on the accompanying guitar.
The Blues Lounge with Turning Wheelz is usually a jam session with an announcement and a constantly changing line-up. The song selection tries to do justice to the invited musical guests and is accordingly varied. There is always the opportunity to play together with spontaneous guests. So you can be surprised every 3rd Thursday of the month at Jolys. It opens at 6.00 pm, starts at 8.15 pm and lasts about 50 minutes, after which you can jam along or continue listening.
