blumay Pop-up-Galerie

blumay works with photography-and with distance from it. The images are supplemented, reworked, overpainted-not to clarify, but to deepen perception and open further layers within the image. Precision lies in the procedure. Images are sorted, sequenced, brought into relation. What emerges is not a narrative but a provisional order: a chain of possibilities, not a solution. What remains is the residue: trace, veil, resistance.

Exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Italy, as well as Foto Art Basel in collaboration with Art Talk Magazine. Most recently, blumay exhibited in Berlin. Seif & Thiel have worked as blumay since 2003.

Edition: 3 works per motif, each individually finished-each piece is unique.
