BMW Art Cars – 20 Artists, 50 Years of Innovation. Reunited at BMW Welt.

In summer 2026, one of the most iconic collections in automotive and art history will return to Munich after a worldwide tour to celebrate its 50th anniversary: for the first time, all 20 BMW Art Cars will be on display together at BMW Welt. From Alexander Calder and Andy Warhol to Julie Mehretu - experience a unique exhibition in which art, design, technology and motorsport come together. A special highlight is Ólafur Elíasson's "BMW H2R Project": since its world premiere in 2007, the work based on a hydrogen prototype has only been shown publicly twice as a "frozen" complete installation.
