Bob Marley, The Clash und Ben Harper beim Vinylrausch 4 im Casa in Nürnberg

The final vinyl rush at Casablanca before the summer break has it all, as we ring in the summer with three musical heavyweights:

Bob Marley has created "the ultimate reggae album" with Natty Dread, every song is an anthem, every sentence a message. Musically rich in melodies and lively grooves, this record, which recently turned 50, is almost a best-off album with songs such as "Them Belly Full (But We Hungry)", "No Woman, No Cry" and "Lively Up Yourself".

The Clash are a true rock band who used the rise of punk to release London Calling 45 years ago, one of the most diverse rock albums ever. Ska, reggae, garage and many other styles can be heard in the urgent songs full of optimism and accusations. A milestone in rock history.

Diamonds On The Inside by Ben Harper was only released 20 years ago. Just as diverse as London Calling, the album is full of rousing songs. The audible influences range from Led Zeppelin, Dylan and Marley to Sly Stone and Ottis Redding. Diamonds On The Inside will give us a rich farewell to the summer and festival break.

Vinylrausch pays tribute to music albums as works of art and plays them loud as in a concert, in a dark movie theater, with an introduction and the song lyrics on the screen.
