For most people, a visit to a Christmas market with craft stalls, mulled wine and roasted almonds is simply part of the Advent season. The Christmas market in Bochum, for example, is a real crowd puller. Not only does it offer 200 lovingly decorated market stalls and a medieval market, but also a Santa Claus who "takes to the skies".
