What once started out as a metal and hardcore group at the end of the 80s has long since developed into dark, atmospheric jazz. Their sound is a wild, stimulating mixture of jazz, doom metal, ambient, minimalism and more. The compositions of the band from the Ruhr area are characterized by slow, almost spherical rhythms, melancholic melodies and a dense, introverted soundscape. The instrumentation also includes double bass, drums, saxophone, vibraphone and piano, which combine musically to create a meditative quality.
