This band is all about color and intensity. A wild mix of progressive rock and jazz, dedicated to experimentalism with childlike playfulness and breathless energy.
Cellist Valentin Ceccaldi invites three of the most unique and creative musicians on the European impro music scene: the explosive drums of Etienne Ziemniak, the blistering guitar of Luis Lopes and the rainbow keyboards of Fulco Ottervanger.
Together they create a music of surprise: solar, powerful and generous.
The composition "Bonbon Flamme", a kind of symphonic poem that gives the album and the band its name, is a collection of notes, words and drawings that are cleverly put together, allowing each one to unfold like a flower in spring in a piece of music where each personality is essential to the other.
This record is a kind of self-portrait with four voices pulverizing references and then reassembling them with bright colors and a use of body and mind appreciated by the four creators.
Bonbon Flame is a delight.
