Books & Crafts Club – Buchtaschen besticken

Please note: There are two time slots for this event on August 13 (one from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and one from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.)

Do you love fantasy books, enjoy creative hobbies, and want to meet new people? Then welcome to the Books & Crafts Club, this time exclusively at Thalia Düsseldorf Kö!

Surrounded by books, you’ll learn in our embroidery workshop how to use a needle and thread to embroider small illustrations onto a book bag—which you can, of course, take home with you afterward!

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never held a needle before or already have experience with embroidery: We’ll teach you the basics and guide you step by step.

At the same time, the Books & Crafts Club is all about community: Get to know other book lovers, chat about your favorite books, and spend a creative morning with like-minded people in a cozy atmosphere.

• A book bag to embroider
• An introduction to the most important embroidery techniques
• Illustration templates so you can get started right away
• All materials included
• Drinks & snacks included
• Time to chat, get to know each other, and be creative together

📅 Sessions:

Session 1: 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. 
Session 2: 4:00–7:00 p.m.
