When The Doors were asked in the ’60s how their music should be classified—which genre it belonged to—they said something along the lines of, “It’s just music, and it taps into the universal spirit of how music is perceived,” or something like that. Which band hasn’t been asked what their music is called—the unambiguous ones, the ones who’ve already said what they’re all about, maybe not…

The only thing that’s clear about Botticelli Baby is that most people who’ve been to one of their concerts won’t care anymore once they’ve experienced seven musicians taking the stage and, after about an hour, taking their bows drenched in sweat, leaving the audience in awe.

There’s a “WOW” hanging in the air. Those who love music will experience the musicians; those who want to laugh will laugh; those who want to dance will be able to dance; those who are sad will cry or be comforted.

Botticelli Baby is setting its sights on the world’s population and shaking off its own dust once again. The body rises from the past few years and the warm bathtub.
