As we all know, the number 8 symbolizes infinity.

We can’t quite deliver on that right now, but we can offer an infinite number of amazing moments, encounters, and memories from the last 10 years of MOYN. We’re staging days filled with the utmost excitement, intensity, and drama. We’ll let all the storylines converge toward their climax before the story comes to an end.

Together, we’ll take the Backsberg by storm one last time and say goodbye the way it’s done here—beautifully and completely over the top! Every MOYN tradition will be honored, the most important figures in MOYN history will grace us with their presence once more, and the Backsberg will, of course, bloom in its most beautiful colors. Only then will we close the (barn) doors for good. Missing this is not an option.

MUSIC

At MOYN, you’ll find soundscapes to dive into, frequencies to float through, and melodies to feel. With unconventional setups, colorful sounds unfold in myriad ways. Up’n Backsberg features DJs, live acts, and bands in a delightful variety—all becoming part of the crew.

Whether it’s moving steadily forward on the Jekken Jolle, dancing gently or wildly on the Hilde, spending extravagant nights on the Speziale, or letting loose on all the smaller dance floors and mysterious spots… together, we transform the field into an unparalleled, ritualistic rave.

ART

MOYN showcases the colors and forms of life in all their facets. Art and culture come to life through exhibitions, performances, installations, theater, acrobatics, circus, and interactive play. 

Alongside your favorite crew, your favorite dance floors, and your favorite people, a small, colorful world of its own takes shape. Here, (visual) boundaries are shattered, art becomes something you can experience and feel, while different cultures blend together.

Open your eyes, explore, take your time, and enjoy the art and culture program between Hilde and Jolle, in the village, or in the small, enchanted corners of the Backsberg. 

DIALOGUES

MOYN and Ahoy, Wild World—you’ll probably be spending some time in the village. That’s because, away from the festival hustle and bustle, the village offers workshops, art & culture, political dialogues, performance art, as well as yoga & meditation. Why not stop by the spa, and then we’ll kick off the night in a relaxed way.

This year’s theme is loosely based on: Village 4.0—with a little something extra.

But we don’t want to give too much away—come to the village and let yourself be surprised, inspired, and swept away.
