About the program:

The world premiere of Ruf for orchestra and tape in 1977 in Royan and Donaueschingen marked the international breakthrough for the Portuguese Pousseur and Stockhausen student Emmanuel Nunes. The filigree music in his own unmistakable language, which was later also performed in Venice and Paris, repeatedly caused a sensation with its sophisticated spatial conception. The Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto, conducted by Stefan Blunier, which is based in the architecturally spectacular Casa da Música with its impressive acoustics, has placed Emmanuel Nunes' key work at the beginning of this räsonanz donor concert for its Munich guest performance - a first Munich guest performance by Portugal's most important symphony orchestra in the 50th year after the Portuguese "Carnation Revolution".
