Louka is a penniless actor who lives with his brother in Athens. When he is accepted to study performing arts in New York, the brothers decide to organize a robbery to raise the money. During the robbery, Louka accidentally shoots a passer-by, seriously injuring him. The brothers manage to escape, but Louka decides to visit the injured man in hospital. The two become friends, but their relationship wavers between friendship and betrayal.
