BRANT BJORK TRIO

To call Brant Bjork a cult figure of desert/stoner rock is an understatement. The drummer from San Bernardino, the county that consists almost entirely of desert and mountains (!), IS the embodiment of this genre, which he founded with his friend Josh Homme in the band Kyuss. After this pioneering achievement, he established the sound from the desert as a member of bands such as Fu Manchu and Mondo Generator. Brant is also a key figure in the festival scene, founding events such as Duna Jam in Sardinia, Desert Generator and Stoned and Dusted (both Orange County). To date, he has produced fifteen studio albums under his name, including three with band names such as Brant Bjork and The Bros, Brant Bjork and The Low Desert Punk Band and his current project, the Brant Bjork Trio. With Ryan Güt on drums and his longtime friend and Fatso Jetson frontman Mario Lalli on bass guitar, he will be coming to Bandhaus Erfurt on 25.05.24.
