In the organizer's words:
Not without me! What makes our democracy what it is - and what endangers it? A city tour of the democratic system in Bremen, with space for discussion and a visit to the Bremen Parliament.
On this tour through Bremen's city center, we move through the history of democracy in Bremen: Along important buildings and historical dates, we take a close look at democratic values and the democratic system. From Bremen City Hall - the executive and thus executive power, to Bremen Regional Court - the judicial and thus adjudicative power, to the Bremen Parliament - the legislative and thus adjudicative power, we experience democracy in Bremen.
At a time when extreme positions are becoming louder, we get into conversation with each other: the tour offers space for interaction and exchange. At the end of this tour, we will visit the plenary chamber of the Bremen Parliament - the state parliament of the federal state of Bremen. We register our guests by name at the Bürgerschaft. Please let us know the first and last names of the participants up to 48 hours before the visit.
