Bremen liest! Carsten Lisecki liest aus "Der Arbeitsaufenthalt als Beitrag zur Erholungsforschung"
In the organizer's words:
Set in Berlin, the Netherlands, and Westphalia, Carsten Lisecki explores the non-existent boundaries between action and analysis.
The stories from the other side of the art world deal with expectations, hierarchies, and places—be it the local supermarket, the egg painter Hagestolz, Sunday best, or the lobby of the Sparkasse Krefeld. Finally, in Bremerhaven—that seaside city that all the people from Bremen in Berlin had warned him about—he discovers the karateka within himself at the
GTV Sports Club of 1862, the karateka within himself …
Carsten Lisecki, a visiting artist from Bremerhaven, works in an interdisciplinary manner using the tools
text, image, research, and criticism. In Bremerhaven, he will continue to develop new formats through the summer of 2026. He also gives lectures and leads seminars at universities and art associations.
Free admission.
