Brennnessel for Future, oder die Königin der Wildpflanzen
In the organizer's words:
Ages 7 and up | 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. | Vacation program: Stinging Nettle for Future, or the Queen of Wild Plants!
The stinging nettle is much more than just a “plant with stings”—it’s a true queen of wild plants! Together, we’ll go on a discovery tour and get to know it really well: Where does it grow? How does it feel to the touch (very carefully!)? And why is it so important for animals and nature?
We’ll find out all the things you can make from stinging nettles—for example, food, little craft projects, or useful everyday items. We’ll also compare them to plastic products and ask ourselves: What’s better for our environment?
Through play, fun, and creativity, we’ll get hands-on and develop our own ideas on how to protect nature and reduce waste. You’ll get to experiment, have a say, and share your own ideas for the future.
That’s how the stinging nettle becomes our “superplant” for a better future—wild, exciting, and truly important!
