Enter the world of ceramics and learn how to use the kiln safely

In this briefing, you will learn everything you need to know about the proper operation and use of the ceramic kiln. Together we will go through the basic steps - from preparing the ceramics and stacking them correctly in the kiln to safely starting and monitoring the firing process.

You will get to know the most important firing programs, receive tips on material compatibility and learn how to properly discharge the kiln after firing.

Prerequisite for participation

No prior knowledge is required to participate.

However, this instruction is mandatory in order to be able to use the kiln in the Maker Space independently.

Please bring your own:

• Work clothes (it can get dusty)

• Sturdy, closed shoes
