Chez Madlen invites you to a brunch that takes you on a journey through France—through regions, stories, and products that are more than just well-made.

Every item on the table represents a place, a craft, a tradition. Some recipes are old, some surprisingly simple—but they all have one thing in common: they tell the story of where they come from.

From Normandy to the Alps, from artisanal salted butter to sweet classics, from everyday staples to small culinary icons. Some we’ve known since childhood; others are deliberately showcased here because they deserve to be seen—and tasted.

With each course, you’ll find an accompanying display card: featuring the story behind the dish and a spotlight on selected ingredients. This way, you’ll learn exactly where the ingredients come from, who’s behind them—and why they’re on your plate.

This brunch is a mosaic of France: regionally inspired, historically rooted, and prepared with respect for the ingredients.
