Orientation, exchange and practical perspectives on responsible AI

Artificial intelligence is increasingly shaping our everyday working lives. At the same time, there is a growing need for guidance: how do we use AI responsibly? What ethical questions do we need to ask ourselves - in concrete terms, beyond theory and buzzwords? And how can we combine technological possibilities with attitude and responsibility?

We will address these questions at a book evening at STARTPLATZ Düsseldorf on February 9, 2026. Together we will present the book "Ethische KI in der Praxis" and create a space for exchange, classification and different perspectives from the field.

The evening will be opened by Lorenz Gräf, founder and managing director of STARTPLATZ.

Simonetta Batteiger, Product Leadership Coach and AI Trainer for Ethics, will be presenting the book. She will introduce the book, share her personal view on central theses and place the content in the field of tension between product development, leadership and responsibility.

This will be followed by an interview with the author Martha Giannakoudi. She provides insights into the creation of the book, her motivation and the questions that keep her busy in her daily work with organizations.

Martha has been involved in the introduction and responsible use of artificial intelligence in companies for many years. As the founder of Synnous, she helps managers and organizations to classify AI not only technologically, but also strategically and organizationally.

Dietmar Schlößer, Kiki Radicke and Patrick Schlepuetz will have their say in the subsequent panel discussion. They share their perspectives and experiences from different contexts - many of which are also represented in the book in the form of interviews.

To round off the evening, we invite you to enjoy snacks and drinks, deepen conversations and make new contacts.
