Do you love books but don’t have anyone to talk to about them?
The Milbertshofen Book Club is your literary gathering place.
Once a month, we read a book together and discuss it in a trusting, respectful atmosphere.
No superficial, brief opinions—just in-depth conversations about what moves us, touches us, or makes us think while reading.

Your host is Isabella Hernadi, cultural manager and book lover

She’s passionate about bringing people together to talk about what really matters. As a cultural manager, she’s been curating cultural encounters for years and creating spaces for in-depth conversations. Her vision for the Milbertshofen Book Club: a place where literature sparks conversations, broadens perspectives, and fosters genuine community.

Isabella moderates the discussion sessions and fosters a respectful, inspiring atmosphere where every voice is heard and different interpretations are given equal weight. At each book club meeting (by arrangement), a guest presents their favorite book.

The featured book on September 10, 2026, is*Solange ein Streichholz brennt*by Christian Huber. 

The book club always takes place on the second Thursday of the month from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Room 3.11.
