Buchpremiere "Ein Haus für mich" von Christine Koschmieder

We are delighted to be able to welcome Christine Koschmieder again. She will be presenting her new book "Ein Haus für mich" (A House for Me), and the evening will be hosted by publisher Gunnar Cynybulk from Kanon Verlag.

About the book:
Christine Koschmieder has moved 21 times in the last 19 years. She has left and lost men, given birth to three children and become an alcoholic. Now she is sober and wants to do a few things differently. In a house just for herself. But is buying a house far away from the big city just the next step towards quirkiness? Whose stories need to be discovered, which images need to be corrected, and who actually owns the houses? Her memoir is an encouragement for all those who want to create good places.

About Chistine Koschmieder
Christine Koschmieder came to Leipzig to study in 1993 and spent ten years doing off-theatre before founding the literary agency Partner + Propaganda. Her debut "Schweinesystem " was nominated for the Aspekte Literature Prize in 2014. Her autofictional novel "Dry" was unanimously praised in the Literarisch en Quartett. Most recently, her novel "Frühjahrskollektion" was published. She has lived in Saxony-Anhalt since 2023.
