Since 2019, the quintet - consisting of Anya (lead vocals), Florian E. (keys, vocals), Florian B. (guitar, vocals), René (drums, percussion) and Niklas (bass) - has been dedicated to different styles of pop music. The band has a modern sound with a few chocolate sprinkles from other musical decades such as the 80s or the 2000s. If you wanted to make musical references, Nothing But Thieves or Jamiroquai would come to mind.

Bye Mon Ami breaks with some band conventions both live and in the studio: The musicians deliberately do without conventional drums or physical guitar and bass amplifiers. No sound is random, all instruments are interlocked and frame Anya's vocals. In recent years, the band has released numerous singles in addition to their first EP "Better Than Fashion". These include tracks such as the power ballad "Irresistible", the Latin house track "Encantar" and the indie pop number "Old Boys".
