Running away, breaking out, eloping. There are many reasons and motives for taking flight. Individual escapes from decisions, responsibility, growing up. Fear of unwanted change. Distraction and procrastination - after all, the shoe is always on the other foot somewhere and the emergency button is hard to find. And of course: fleeing for political, existential reasons. Having to leave your home country due to crises, wars and threats. To paraphrase Bertolt Brecht: Involuntarily blown away across the earth. Arriving where you are not welcome. In PUSH & PULL, Cactus Junges Theater explores the question: What does flight have to do with you and me? Where am I fleeing to, what am I fleeing from? A seven-member ensemble dares to test the field. And swipes through a television world of multiple escape offers to find out for themselves.
