"can you protect my light from the wind" is the story of a friendship; a story of mutual solidarity and care across a border that war has drawn through Europe. The director, actor and former ensemble player at Theater Kiel Tristan Steeg and the director and documentary theater artist Yevheniia Vidishcheva from Kyiv have set out on a search. In their artistic research work, they explore the discrepancy between their living environments. They visit each other in their home countries and get to know their families.
