With Carmina Burana, Carl Orff created one of the most popular works of the 20th
century in 1936. Today, his cantata is considered a classic and is a powerful
stage experience that combines emotion, song and rhythm. The
composer set Middle High German and Latin texts from a medieval collection to music
medieval collection, which reflect the full human lust for life in the ups and downs of the
