KONZERT: TITANOBOA --- präsentiert vom TheaterPACK

In the organizer's words:

The power piano trio "TITANOBOA" (= the primeval giant snake) has been playing regular concerts and tours throughout the country for over three years. With a mix of original compositions in the guise of The Bad Plus or the Brad Mehldau Trio and unusual arrangements of well-known pop hits by Radiohead, Talk Talk or Björk, the three young musicians inspire an audience beyond jazz.

Jan and Vincent have been making music together since their youth in Dresden. Jan later met Lucas during his studies in Hamburg. Both played in the band Bluff, with which they were awarded the Young German Jazz Prize, among others. Jan was a member of the Bundesjugendjazzorchester and is currently studying for a master's degree with Jeff Ballard at the Jazzcampus in Basel. Lucas lives and works in Hamburg again after a one-year study visit to Sienna, where he plays as a sideman in numerous band formations. Vincent attended the music academy in Leipzig and has been releasing his music (such as his debut album "Bewegtes Feld", produced by Michael Wollny) on the ACT label since 2021. As a trio, they present exciting, energetic music, right on the ravages of time, which takes listeners on a rollercoaster ride.
