When CASEY ended their career in 2019, it felt like a premature end. With their two albums - "Love Is Not Enough" and "Where I Go When I Am Sleeping " - the five-piece band from Wales had established themselves as one of the most exciting bands on the British alternative scene in just a few years.

Some four years later, the band returned - not only with sold-out concerts at their first reappearance on stage, but also with new music in their luggage.

"Great Grief" was the first song to be released after their resurrection. A beautifully dark track in which the band further develops the multi-layered soundscapes that characterized the songs on their second album "Where I Go When I Am Sleeping". It's typical CASEY - broken, wounded and bloody, but at the same time full of beautiful defiance.

Once you hear the new songs, it becomes clear that the band need not worry about the integrity of their new creative vision, nor their emotional investment in it. The songs are typical CASEY: open hearts dripping with the same kind of pain and trauma that have characterized the band from the beginning.
