Folk singer-songwriter from the USA for three shows in Germany in spring 2026

Chance Peña is the next big name on the US folk scene. With his style - a mixture of atmospheric productions, light indie folk and his soulful voice - as well as his songs "i am not who i was" and "In My Room" , he has landed global hits. His song "Sleep Deprivation", which heralded the singer-songwriter's breakthrough, also stands out from his oeuvre with nine-digit streaming views. Following the release of his debut album "Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming" in 2024 , Chance Peña followed up with his latest album "When I Change My Mind I Don't Mean It" in August 2025. In the fall, the singer-songwriter toured the USA in support of The Lumineers - who Chance Peña himself counts as a major influence on his own music alongside Kid Cudi - and then came to Europe as the support act for Tom Odell's arena tour. In May 2026, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter will return to Europe with his current album on his UK/EU headline tour, where Chance Peña can be seen live in Germany in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg, among other places.

Chance Peña was born in Texas and learned early on from his parents that you have to understand the business in order to become a part of it. So he took part in The Voice at the age of 15, networked with people in the music industry through his father and gradually developed into the songwriter he is today from 2017 onwards. He celebrated his first major successes with songs such as "Hey Lovely" (2017), "Pursuit of Happiness" (2018), "Up, Up & Away" and "star hopping lover" (both 2019). He also released his debut EP "anxiety & mixed emotions" in 20219 and followed it up with his second EP "The Inevitable" in 2020. In the same year, he signed his first major label deal and was celebrated as a songwriter for his work on the song "Conversations in the Dark", the lead single from John Legend's Grammy-winning album "Bigger Love". With the singles "War" and "Sleep Deprivation", Chance Peña landed major successes in 2020, laying the foundation for his international breakthrough, which he finally achieved with the release of the song "In My Room" in May 2022. After the "Lovers to Strangers" EP, the singer's next smash hit, "i am not who i was", was released in 2023. "The Mountain Is You" and "Is What It Is" followed in 2024, heralding his debut album "Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming", which took him on tour around the world. In 2025, Chance Peña released further singles such as "Good Love Die" and "Song From Yesterday", which pointed to his second album "When I Change My Mind I Don't Mean It", which was released on August 29, 2025.
