Chanti is bäck - in probably the hottest fairy tale ever! Chantal (Jella Haase), an eternal influencer with no followers, and her best friend Zeynep (Gizem Emre) end up in a fairytale world thanks to an antique magic mirror that they mistake for a social media gimmick. To Chantal's delight, because as a princess you can probably generate the best content! Unfortunately, it's not just any fairy tale she falls into, but "Sleeping Beauty" of all things. A little warning to all princes: Kiss awake at your own risk! While Chantal is looking for her way back home, she realizes that things are very different in the realm of dragons, fairies and other fairytale characters than we know from the stories of the Brothers Grimm. Princess Amalia (Maria Ehrich), who doesn't dream of being married at all, the sensitive Prince Bosco (Max von der Groeben), who suffers from identity problems, Aladdin (Mido Kotaini), who has never heard of a flying carpet, and a witch (Nora Tschirner), who is anything but a cliché. CHANTAL IM MÄRCHENLAND is a funny and touching adventure that gives the world of fairy tales a new and contemporary twist and shows that you certainly don't need princes for a happy ending.
