The Beirut-born jack-of-all-trades himself calls his seemingly boundless style "Lebrary Music", which combines traditional funk and exotica - just like Martin Denny played in the 50s - easy listening, jazz, cinematic soundtrack music, Arabic sounds and other sampled sounds of "library music". The multi-instrumentalist thus links his origins in "Lebanon" with the "library music" developed in the 1920s, with found fascinating sounds from the 1920s that returned as a retro phenomenon in the 1960s and 1970s, not least via old albums found at flea markets.
