Charlie Children's Festival 2025 - the biggest ever! Chemnitz city center will become a huge adventure playground for children - with bouncy castles, craft trails, skate ramps, magic and much more.

On 24 May 2025, the entire city center of Chemnitz will once again be transformed into a colourful paradise of discovery for children and families. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors to the Charlie Children's Festival 2025 can expect a varied program with creative stations, sporting challenges, activities and hands-on offers - many of which are free of charge.

The highlights include:

• Bouncy castles, skate ramp, face painting, bungee trampoline, archery, magic, Ferris wheel, Kettcar races, chalk painting activities with competitions from Europa Park, readings, walking acts, hands-on martial arts, digger driving and much more.
• The blue light mile of the Chemnitz police department on the market with police trotters, patrol cars, bicycle squadron, puppet stage with mascot Poldi, criminal police advice, career guidance and demonstrations with service dogs.
• "Do something new!" - Job and career fair organized by the Freie Presse media group and BLICK - with information and activities about training, career entry and future opportunities for young people
• The children's cooking kitchen from the Chemnitzer Köche 1898 e.V. association on Düsseldorfer Platz with hands-on cooking activities and the sale of asparagus for a good cause.
• A handicraft station of the parents' association for children with cancer Chemnitz e.V. with jute bag and ceramic designs - the proceeds go towards the association's work
• The sound trail of the Saxon Mozart Society in the inner courtyard of the Rathaus Passagen - an interactive listening experience for children and families.

Numerous local traders and restaurateurs invite you to join in with activities, treats and surprises.
