Spend a sociable evening at our monthly Chess Night in Düsseldorf, treat yourself to a few tasty drinks in a relaxed pub atmosphere and show off your skills at our blitz chess tournament including Beginners, Advanced and Pro Cup!

Our Chess Night in Düsseldorf always takes place on the fourth Monday of the month. The thinking time per game is 3 minutes + 2 seconds extra time per move.

We start the tournament with a preliminary round, which serves to classify the playing strength of all participants. For this purpose, we form groups of four players in which everyone plays against everyone else. Your final group ranking at the end will decide which knockout phase you will go on to:

1st place = Pro Cup

2nd & 3rd place = Advanced Cup

4th place = Beginners Cup

In the knockout phase, you will meet other players with a similar level of play to yours, so that you have a fair chance of finishing on the winner's podium in your cup and taking home a small award.
