CHIMÄRE

CHIMERASare hybrid creatures. In mythology, they unite opposites and move between reality and fantasy, the real and the illusory, shadow and light. They represent a state of in-between—the potential not to resolve apparent contradictions, but to relate them to one another.

Building on this motif,MADELEINE MESAMandFRANZISKA SCHEUERECKERcreate a space in which two working methods meet, enter into dialogue, and are woven together into a new form.

Materials, forms, and visual languages interact with one another and transform through shared thought. The CHIMÄRE does not appear as a finished entity, but as an ongoing process—as something that takes shape between these positions and is constantly being reconfigured.

The exhibition invites visitors to enter this in-between space: a place where boundaries become permeable and a new, shared form emerges from dialogue.
